NIce to see 'the Kitty' on here. I worked across the street at the AMC for 21 years and we routinely popped over there for a few hours of skiing, then back to work, if conditions were right and work could be done later in the day. I particularly love that this mountain, located on the White Mtn National Forest, is just the mountain. No extra stuff at the base. You go there to ski with a fabulous view (weather depending). You can ski down the backside and back to Jackson with the right gear.
I've officiated a number of weddings on top and sometimes hiked back down with the couple afterwards.
When I was a child and skied there, I remember my mother telling me took at Mt Washington, that I would probably never see it as clear as I was seeing it that day, again. Little did she know where my career and life would take me.
Shouldn't Loveland Basin and Loveland Valley be listed within your multi area owner chart since they are now disconnected ski areas?
