We live in the Indy area. Had the once-a-week pass. We stayed overnight in Lawrenceburg one time to be able to take advantage of skiing two days in a row on the weekly flip (I think Sunday night). Skied all day with the kids and planned to go back by myself after dinner and putting them to bed with my wife in the hotel. Couldn't make it back to Perfect North because too much snow and the road closed (ice). One of the funniest ski stories of my ski life.
