After a total knee replacement, I decided to step back from Jay Peak to see how I did with my new knee. I bought a senior season's pass at Titus. Jay is a great area, and the best glades in the East. But, it has gotten too crowded, a bit pricey and the drive from Rouses Point is somewhat aggravating when the weather is bad. I discovered Titus as a perfect place for me. The drive is easy, the prices are very reasonable, no blackout dates with a season pass, great lodge and restaurant, and great grooming. No crowds! No steps to the lodge! There are a few mogul and challenging trails, and woods that give that "Jay Peak" feel. I am on my third season's pass and can't wait for the 2021-2022 season. By the way, the new knee works fine.

That is horrible Titus got screwed out of their money! They are a struggling small business that was only bought because of small town pride. We don’t have much living way up here in Malone but Titus is amazing. Our family has skied there for four generations. The Monette’s have done an incredible job with making winter fun and exciting. I don’t know what I can do to help but our community should be outraged!

Day trip from Brooklyn to Titus? Stu you are hardcore. I wanted to day trip from Long Island to Magic and my wife thought I was nuts. That's just getting the car warmed up for you. Anyway, Titus has been on my list for awhile but if I make it past Lake Placid I generally keep going north over the border. Great work though. Really look forward to your updates highlighting NY ski areas.
