First time commenting here - nice podcast Stuart and good luck rebuilding Holiday Mountain Mike! I skied Holiday once in 2002 with some coworkers - we stayed a mile or two away at Kutshers, one of the many now-defunct Catskills resorts. Compared to my trip to Killington earlier that winter the Kutshers+Holiday experience was like going back in time several decades, kind of quaint but also a little sad at the same time, as if it was an era of history that had already ended. I'm glad to learn the mountain survived even if those hotels did not and that Mike has a vision to make it a fresh destination for a new generation of skiers. Teaming up with the local casino for lodging sounds like a good choice and you're definitely back on my radar for future seasons!
