Okemo is enjoyable. I am sure the manager is solid. Okemo is very successful. However, if I drank whiskey every time this guy or many (very many) other resort mountain managers say “guest experience” I would be in the ICU. I have Epic. Will have it again. Like the podcast and support it. But as someone who has spent too long in corporate America I am too jaded not to notice what feels like talking points. Epic and Ikon are marketing strategies. Successful ones but nothing more.
