Insightful and enjoyable to read as always. Talk of an 8 pack makes me appreciate my day on the one pack at Mad River last Feb.28. But, I know the value of these lifts, to skiers and mountains alike. Ultimately, the underpinning of most businesses' success is volume. And, I do like the high speed 4 pack at my home mountain.
The demise of Blandford hits close to me, I spent many years skiing and working there. It follows the end of another local area, MT. Tom in Holyoke, Ma., 22 years ago. Hopefully, by the time Northeast skiing comes around, we will have reached some return to social interaction. Best wishes to you and your family, I think New York is the focal point, the flagship if you will to most Americans.
