About NY being backwards... we hear that a lot. "Why can't Gore be 50 miles to the West?" If it was, the character of New York would much more like Vermont, and Gore would be more like Killington. Not saying that's a bad thing, but in NY we revel in our wild lands and our underdog status. At least at NYSB we do.
