I'm very curious as to the 'why' of the sale. A small tech company buying a multi-product pass? A lot of smaller ski areas use Entabeni systems, so maybe they're looking at this as a marketing play to get to everyone on the indy pass.
Ski Area Magazine has a more in-depth article on it. Sounds like Doug didn’t like the financial risk aspect of managing the pass and so he sold to a company who is ok with it. Seems like a good business decision all around. However, reading about the potential ability to flex allowable Indy redemptions up or down on short notice raises some question marks in my mind.
Digging the use of the word "indefinitely" with regard to Doug's relationship with Indy Pass.
Congrats Doug, you created something great.
Whoa…big news from Doug and Erik here. Capping sales feels like a good call from several angles (biz partnering and ski experience preservation)
