Well said Ms. M. Sometimes the right Nurse job will make more than PA's and NP's...so where is the excuse for that?

There are other health care professionals that work on the front lines, besides just nurses, that don't make dr salaries: PAs, resp Therapists, medical/ nursing assistants, lab workers, pharmacists, phlebotomists, cleaning services that keep the ER and hospital clean.

DO NOT BUY ANOTHER IKON PASS. Starve the beast. I also lost out on my annual Aspen trip and spring months at Arapahoe Basin due to closures, with no refunds. So they are offering a renewal discount of $100 on the basic pass for renewal, which makes it – exactly the same as I paid last year. That sleight of hand is hardly a discount. There is a bigger issue. This pass is ruining Colorado ski areas with crowds, traffic, lines and parking shortages because it attracts so many more “bucket list” pass holders who would never go to the smaller areas otherwise. I’m giving up on Eldora, just up the canyon from my Boulder home, after more than 30 years of skiing there. The IKON and EPIC passes are the gift cards of the ski corporations; they count on a lot of people not using it enough, or at all, and pocket the revenue. This year they had a bonanza, laying off the workers and saving all of that payroll and electricity, keeping our money. Vail Resorts just announced higher than expected earnings due to “cost” reductions in April. Don’t write to them, don’t demand refunds, and don’t count on a class action suit. Just stop giving them your money. Spread the word. If enough people pass on this pass, you can bet the resorts are going to have to come up with something else to fill the chairlifts. Loveland, still proudly independent, is looking awfully good for next season.

This is deplorable. Only $50 off to make up for the two months of spring skiing we're missing out on??

They are making multi millions of dollars on ALL the unused tickets this spring. It should be at least a $200 off and the current pass should be valid this November and December. I would boycott Ikon and go with the epic pass
