I ski week 12 (end of March) most years. I skipped the 25-26 season due the low snow forecasted. Most years, Vail is very relaxing as the diverse terrain keeps this 70 year old skier interested. But most of time I like exploring with my Indy Pass around home. It would be interesting to hear how many people own dual passes, for me I have my Epic pass and Indy pass.

I skied Vail for the first time this past February, fortunately during what was probably one of the best weeks of this poor winter in Colorado. As with anyone that reads social media skiing posts and comments, especially those of us that are Indy Pass holder, I had heard all kinds of Vail bashing, but had the opportunity to meet up with some friends there. I don’t put any value on the bougie base area or fancy on-mountain restaurants, but it only took one day there to say “Ok, now I get why people love skiing at Vail”. It won’t be an every-year destination for me, but I’m glad to have experienced it!

Sounds like a great time--I'd love to visit Vail one of these years! I love that you usually include trail maps in posts--and I appreciate the maps for the Back Bowls and Blue Sky Basin--but I would've loved to also see a frontside map here to save me looking for it elsewhere.
