Yes I have both the IKON and EPIC (I work P/T for Vail -soooo) great interview - Stuart you should do an episode on the ski hills in lower NY/NJ long gone (yes I know a guy - my dad 85 yrs old ski patrol at a few of those now gone areas - Silver Mine, Fahnestock (yup right off the Taconic, Mt. Beacon and Stirling Forest (now Mt. Peter) - he also was good Friends w/ the John Fuerst owner of Pedigree Ski shop in White Plains - I think one of the 1st.
Good interview, as always. Learned about the history of Mammoth, and it's good to hear that the guy running Ikon is a serious skier and worked his way up from liftie, not a cube dweller in suburban Colorado.
What an interesting interview. Thank you. I bought an Ikon pass for my son and me and deferred to next season for a variety of reasons. We did ski Jackson on a powder day (paid retail) and it was wayyyy too crowded. Not sure we will return if those crowds become the norm. Best wishes to Jackson and Ikon on tweaking the system to lessen the crowds.

Why is there not a third pass option that excludes Saturday in December-March but is a $150-$200 cheaper than the base pass?
