Not to be nit picky but Caberfae is at 1500' and Gaylord is at 1350' I live a mile away from Grove Hill in Osceola County that is the highest point in the lower peninsula @ 1710'.
Sorry Stu, GO BUCKS!!! Great interview. So glad Tree Tops is part of Indy Pass. I use TT as my first afternoon ski location when driving up from central Ohio. Great location to get the legs going after three hours of skiing.
Fun to see berry on your podcast. My parents were one of the first members to purchase property at garland - (which back then had berry running one of northern Michigan’s better cross country skiing operations). I know they were gutted when he left (and were really angry with the at-the-time new ownership) but have been really happy with all of his success at treetops. I skied there last winter for a day and gave him a proverbial pat on the back. Fun to see the little guys on your podcast.
