I enjoyed this podcast but have been scratching my head, wondering where OpenSnow measures it snow fall predictions. For instance, if a mountain has 3000 vertical feet and OpenSnow is predicting 12" where is it predicting that 12"? Base? Mid-mountain or peak? I went back to the website and couldn't find this answer. Thanks again.
As skiers who chases NY/VT snow (vs pass maximization), we love Open Snow.
Open Snow is certainly not perfect, but after using it for a while, you learn how to gain value from it, even in the east. The map feature is very helpful for getting a quick glance at options.
Didn't realize all access went up, I think it was $10.99 last year. We are on auto-renew.

I used to only pray for snow. I will now pray for two things: 1. Moisture 2. Lift.
Where is the picture at the top of all your posts?
This is one of my favorite episodes. What a guy, makes we grin nonstop. His energy is amazing. Keep the ski industry vibe expanding.
