Over the past three years, many of you have asked for a place where Storm readers can connect outside of the whiplash-zone of social media. Today, I’m announcing a new feature: the The Storm Skiing Journal and Podcast subscriber chat.
This conversation space exists in the Substack app, and is exclusively for subscribers. We’ll talk all things lift-served skiing, including multi-mountain passes, new lifts and trails, consolidation, and who’s creating the best, most-balanced ski experience. I’ll post regular prompts for both free and paid-only subscribers.
Messages are sent via the Substack app, rather than by email. To join The Storm’s chat, you’ll need to download the Substack app. You can also turn on push notifications to join the conversation as it happens. Follow the instructions below to get started:
Download the app by clicking this link or the button below. Chat is only on iOS for now, but chat is coming to the Android app soon.
Open the app and tap the Chat icon. It looks like two bubbles in the bottom bar, and you’ll see a row for my chat inside.
That’s it. Jump into my first thread, which is a prompt on where you’re based, which passes you have, what your home mountain is, and how many days you plan to ski this year. If you have any issues, check out Substack’s chat FAQ.
