Ikon Pass Adds Panorama, Canada and Lotte Arai, Japan

Resorts join as five- and seven-day partners for 2022-23 ski season; total roster now equals 52 destinations worldwide

Ikon Pass today added Panorama, Canada and Lotte Arai, Japan to its roster, giving passholders access to 52 destinations for the 2022-23 ski season. Full Ikon Pass holders will receive seven days at each ski area with no blackouts. The Ikon Base Pass and Ikon Base Pass Plus will include five days at each ski area, with holiday blackouts at Panorama and no blackouts at Lotte Arai. Panorama will join the Ikon Session Pass, but Lotte Arai will not.

Panorama is Ikon’s ninth ski area in Canada and fourth in British Columbia. The resort features one of the largest vertical drops in North America at 4,265 feet, and is a mainstay on BC’s famed Powder Highway, along with existing Ikon partners Revelstoke and Red Mountain. Seated just two hours west of Ikon’s Alberta trio of Sunshine, Lake Louise, and Mt. Norquay, Panorama fits in comfortably with the pass’ existing roster.

Lotte Aria joins the four interlinked ski areas of Niseko United as the second Ikon Pass destination in Japan. The two ski areas are nowhere near one another, but the addition further builds on the burgeoning North American-Japan ski connection, marking the 18th cross-Pacific partnership on major U.S.-based passes.
